A special two-in-one caliper designed for the potter to match lids to holes. Basic 1 to 1 ratio for matching greenware. Reassemble the wing nut and the caliper will match a greenware lid to it's fired pot (matches for up to 12 1/2% shrinkage.) Plastic.
