VIRTUAL CLAY™ WITH ADRIENNE SPINOZZI

NCECA is thrilled to collaborate with 92Y to present Assistant Research Curator of American Decorative Arts in the American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Adrienne Spinozzi. This interactive online session is part of 92Y’s Virtual Clay™ lecture series and takes place Wednesday, April 22, at 7 pm Eastern. The upcoming exhibition, Stories in Clay: Stoneware from Old Edgefield District, South Carolina (scheduled to open February 2022) will present new interpretations of Edgefield stoneware, focusing on the enslaved African Americans whose labor enabled this industry to prosper in the nineteenth-century American South.
